This wasn't as long as The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, nor was it as tedious. This book took a more straight forward and blunt approach. I appreciated the realism of Agnes's toils, and found a bit of humor given by Westfield. This is a charming romance without all the B.S. attached to it.

Carrying on with this series and with my healthy exercises. I love reading this sub-series because I can relate so well with Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg. This time it seems that Pratchett was spoofing a number of fairy tales. Might not take me long to finish this book.

Day 13: Back to the excersising, and my husband calling out the exercises for me...

Day 14: I hate that I have to have privacy to excercise. I used to be in Martial Arts and Self-defense, and have found out just how hard it is to get back to where I used to be. This is how I imagine my daughter is thinking when I send her and her brother out of the room...

Day 15: OH MY GODS! 30 DAY FITNESS CHALLENGE UPDATED AND ADDED A NEW LEG WORKOUT!
My OCD just can't handle starting a new workout. So stupid me did 3 days worth of the excercises, just so I could have rest days on the same day...

Day 16: I was just so lazy today, I'm suprised that I didn't spend the entire day passed out sleeping like I did the previous rest days. This requires some reflection...

Day 17: Suprisingly I was like this in my workouts today...


And I am now finished with the book. All I can say that this one was even better than the last, by the end I was crying from laughing so hard.

I have to say that after laboriously reading this book, that Anne is my favorite of the Bronte sisters!
Yet again I dove in without reading the synopsis of the book, and was so delighted by the end. Granted the main characters Gilbert and Helen must go through some of the most hellish torments. I was able to relate to the story, as compared to Charlotte and Emily's works. Anne kept a firm grasp on realism, and very little mystery. I was also charmed by the romanticism, and loved the mix up of the wedding.

So I'm starting new healthy exercises; after my surgeries 3 years ago. Pratchett has inspired me to get back into shape with his wit and humor. Using the Google Fit and 30 day Challenge apps. The work out regime is Full Body, Abs, Butt, Arms workout, and 2 mile walks.
Day 1: My body is screaming...

Day 2: Exercise says to me...

Day 3: I say to exercise...

Day 4: It's a rest day. Color me surprised, and my husband is now going to join in.

Day 5: and I've came across the librarian of the Magic University again, by far he has to be my favorite character in the entire Discworld series, but Bill Door is quite amusing as well. Also I started back on the training from Hell and I'm expecting Crowley to show up. I hate sit ups!...

Day 6: It seems that I'm going solo on this training. Though it doesn't seem that the Abs workout hurts as much as when I started...

Day 7: 45 Squats? 25 Sit-ups? More than 3 minutes of Planking?

Day 8: Ooooh another rest day, and it seems I've lost 4 pounds since I've started...

Day 9: Hubby and I uped the ante on our walks, because we're walking the roads to find soda cans so we can pay his bondsman. We did about 4 miles today, then I still did my workouts during the vice-presidential debate. I just want to smack Tim Kaine for being an interuptive a$$h0l3! Especially to the moderator, Pratchett has many jokes about politicians...

Day 10: Another 4 mile walk today. I really didn't want to work out, but I did and this is what was running through my head to get myself through it all...

Day 11: After a combined 12 miles in the previous 3 days this is how my workouts progressed...

Day 12: Another rest day...


Now I've finished this particular book, and I will continue with the series. I'll also keep going on this 30 day challenge.

Let's just say that romance just isn't my cup o' tea, but the title caught my attention. Anything Norse is right up my alley.


Young Adult is always like Russian roulette...


But the further I got into the plot I found that the author rained on my parade...


Then to my utter disappointment a love triangle appears...


Then the resolution of the book, and the mystery being revealed...


This is just ridiculous; why do I keep reading this?


So I'm just going to finish out this car crash of a book, and finish out the series because I just have to know how all of this ends...

I enjoyed the Hades out of this read! I was over joyed that this series has been introduced. Also Riordan brought back the style of first Olympians book.
Apollo's plight is hilariously unexpected. I really adored the Carpos Peaches, and Meg was a charming character. I really sypathize with her character. Also it was really interesting when what the Hidden Oracle is revealed as.
So go and read it for yourself if you haven't yet!

First and formost I love Holly's work. She has a wonderful imagination and writing style. I loved the last pages, and I'll share them with you.

Imadoki! (Nowadays Vol. 1)

Imadoki! Nowadays, Vol. 1 by Yuu Watase

This volume kicks off with Chapter:1-6.

This was a really charming plot to me; with its more realistic everyday romance as opposed to a paranormal twist. The art of course was classic Watase, and I loved every frame. The beginning of the story is hysterically absurd, and you don't think that this story will get off of the ground. The main character is appealingly surprising though, and her obvious love interest is adorable and full of conflict.
I wasn't intending to read this manga again, but I ended up diving into my manga collection and reading it again just so I could review it for everyone.

I'll write more when editing mode hits me.

The further I read into this series, the more infuriated I become.


I almost completely lost it when I read the part about energy drinks. I feel that Kinney is making a joke out of addiction, and blows off the seriousness of the subject.

Granted that Greg isn't as much of a jerk in this book and has developed as a character. His intentions are still selfish and vindictive.

I was a little disappointed with this installment. There wasn't very much action, and Ahz was absent for a majority of the book. I think his character is why I keep coming back for more of these books.
Gleep does help with a lot as the comedic relief, and I adore Buttercup the War Unicorn.

And then get ready to be angry on behalf of all women in this book. It was one of the few things that bothered me with the plot, and makes me think that this is fictitiously portraying the religion of Islam.


Then there's all the confusion of who the deliverer may be.

I wasn't absolutely thrilled with The Great Bazaar. Brett does put an interesting twist on religion, and it seems to me that it is mimicking Islam in a fictitious way. That; I do find interesting and at the same time infuriating. The magic system is very well thought out and executed. Brava!

I really enjoyed this short story, and thought it was almost as good as the first book. It seemed that this short embraced the emotion that caught my attention.
Briar Patch is an amazing character, and is a perfect example of present day refugee children. Many could take a lesson from this child.
An excellent series, and I highly recommend.
