Honestly if you were thinking this is anything like the Disney versions, then you would be completely wrong. A good portion of Carroll's story was a more twisted version of that. I think that he may have written this for someone in particular. Whom that might be, I'm not to sure of. I would suggest that this is a pre-teen book.
