This was a fantastic read on my part. Briggs thought of a very interesting perspective. I loved the idea of a walker. An entire magic that has been unexplored or simply overlooked. I would like to say that I would like more Native American fiction, and venturing into even more myths and legends.
I like how Mercy takes no crap from anyone, and her level of sneakiness. For some reason I just keep coming back to this series every few years. I've read this book three times now, and it looks like I just might have to replace my copy if I go through the series again. It's still deserving of the 5 stars I gave it the first time I read it. Now if we could just convince Mrs. Briggs to revisit the Hurog series.
