Under the Jolly Roger: Being an Account of the Further Nautical Adventures of Jacky Faber by L.A. Meyer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
So far this has been exciting, but it hasn't had a steady moving plot. Jacky and her crew have been stopping at many ports, and getting into trouble where ever they make birth. Jacky opens an orphanage.
The British Government has put a price on Jacky's head, is caught, her ship sunk, and jailed. Wonder what happens after this.
This hasn't been the same quality as the first two books, yet it is still a fantastic series. I wasn't expecting for Jacky to go back to sea, but I wasn't surprised when I read when she did. I'm shocked by some of the letters from Jaimy. This just doesn't seem like a healthy state of mind.
So by the last part of the book we're thrown into a gruesome battle. What happens after that you'll have to find out for yourself.
