Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Oh my holy gods on Pogo sticks spreading fire across the plains!
This book has been the most twisted, manipulative society structure I have ever read about. I think what just gets me is that this system uses small children as soldiers. What was facinating to me was the possibility of technology in the settings. I was fairly angry at most of the book and was horrified by the escalation of violence between these children.
